Blakely, GA

At the end of April, Blakely made her first trip to Blakely, GA. The town that gave us the idea for her name. We visited with family there and had a great time. It is such a sweet little town, and we can't wait to go back. Here are a couple of pictures...

By the way, we did not do this to our precious child on purpose (not exactly anyway). See...Mommy was doing the bath thing on her own, and afterwards she couldn't find the brush. She didn't think it was a big deal, so she ran her fingers through it and was done. Poor Blakely, her mommy is NO GOOD at fixing hair! :)

I took Blakely to have her 6 month pictures taken last week. We take her picture almost every day, but I wanted to have some professionally done. Julie is a super sweet, and talented photographer and did a GREAT job with Blakely. She was even able to make her laugh when it was past nap time and mommy was out of ideas! As you can see from some of the pictures, B got a little tired, and was not the best subject, but I think even the pictures she's crying in are cute.
