Are you ready for some football??

The Parrish family is ready for football season to begin. Last year I was 8 months pregnant and less than enthusiastic about sitting in the hot sun. I made it to 1 game before B was born (and didn't stay for the whole game), and I think 1 after. Oh well, it's a new season, and I can't wait. I'm excited about tailgating with B and having her see Aubie for the first time!
All of this to say, a month or so ago we had a free weekend (amazing, I know), and the weather was gorgeous. So we took B to campus and took some pictures.

I guess there's just one thing left to say...

10 Month Update

Tomorrow B will be 10 months old! I can't believe it! Where has the time gone?!?! Here are her stats from her 9 month appointment: Wt.= 19lbs. 15oz., Ht.= 28 6/8 inches, Head cir. =18 1/2 inches. She is now taking 2 naps a day (1 1/2 - 2 hours each, and sleeping about 11 hours at night. I would love to let you know what foods she loves to eat, but that is something that changes daily. Today's favorite might be met with a closed mouth tomorrow. And when that mouth is closed, NOTHING is getting in ;)

In honor of B's 10 month birthday (and in an effort to catch you up on what's going on with her), I'm going to make a list of her 10 favorite things (in no particular order, of course!).

10. Playing in the water. It can be a pool, the bathtub, or even the dog's water bowl, if she can splash in it, SHE LOVES IT!

9.Books. I must say, she gets this from her mommy. I'm so excited because she's really into touch and feel books, and lift-the-flap books right now. But don't dare try to help her feel or lift. Miss Independent has to do it on her own. Which I believe she gets from her daddy ;)

8.Being Chased. Since she started crawling, she will crawl down our hallway a little, then turn around and look at us and smile. She will sit there until someone starts to crawl after her. She laughs SO hard when we do this. Sometimes she giggles so much her crawling gets thrown off and she falls over. We enjoy this game almost as much as she does!

7.Pulling Up. On anything and everything. Just this month she started pulling up in her crib.

6.Strolling. A favorite of B's (and mommy's) since the beginning.

5. Swinging. Another oldie, but goodie.

4. Music. Of any kind. Even if it's just a song playing in the background at a restaurant or store, she will start swaying and clapping her hands. She LOVES to dance! Here she is clapping as mommy sings.

3. Maverick. Or any dog really. She loves to crawl over to our back door and call Mav. Dog, or "da," was her first word! BTW, please excuse the hand/nose prints on the door. I can't seem to keep it clean for some reason :)

2. Tupperware. Or boxes, or ribbon, or plastic bottles. Pretty much anything that's NOT a toy. Also included in this category are mommy and daddy's cell phones and keys, and the remote control.

1. Family. She gets so excited whenever we see any of her grandparents, cousins, aunts, or uncles. She is especially excited about her new cousin Jack.

It's hard to believe she was his size just a few short months ago!

Much more to come...
